New Covenant Presbyterian Church is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).  We believe that God is sufficient for all of life's needs.  We claim it, we depend on it, we trust in it, and we thrive under it.  His Word and His Spirit are the precious bonds that hold us together.  We hope you visit with us soon and get to know us better.

      Following our August 19 meeting, we will take September off and regather in October to meet every other Monday evening at Sandy G.'s home. More details will be forthcoming in September.

      American Heritage Girls (AHG) is a national Christian organization dedicated to “building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country”, emphasizing spiritual and character development, leadership, teamwork and confidence, life skills, and social development. This program is open to girls between the ages of 5 and 18. Our troop (#1316) meets on the first and third Monday of the month from 7-8:30 pm.

      Tuesday mornings (year-round) in the conference room beginning at 10 am, NCPC is supported in prayer by faithful women who join together to approach the throne of grace boldly on behalf of the community.

    • Ladies summer reading group

      Thursdays, 10 am, at NCPC


      The Ladies Summer Reading Group will meet Thursdays at 10 am from June 13 - August 22. We will be reading The Pilgrim's Progress.

    • SUMMER YOUTH GROUP (GRADES 7 - 12)

      THURSDAY EVENINGS, 7:00 - 8:30 PM

      This summer, our youth study will be Dare 2 Share's Gospel Journey, which focuses on learning to share the gospel with friends. We will kick off for the summer on July 4 at the Ceci home, with fireworks to follow. All other meetings will take place at NCPC.       Kurt S. will be leading a workshop on how to have spiritual conversations. 

      It will equip Christians to share the gospel with and disciple those outside the faith or those who have not yet joined themselves to a church. We will cover topics such as: The Meaning of the Gospel, The Purpose of Life, The Word of God, Salvation, and The Church, along with a chance to practice what you have learned.

      The next Ladies Prayer Breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, August 24, at 8:30am.

    • pilgrim's progress for young adults

      second andLast Sundays of each month at various homes

      Next meeting date will be August 25, 2019

      Two Sundays each month, the young adults will gather at various homes for a light lunch and a study through John Bunyan's classic work. The Pilgrim's Progress is an allegory of living and growing through the Christian life with all its challenges and rewards.

      Every last Sunday evening of the month we hold a fellowship dinner hosted by one of our Shepherding Groups, followed by a special missions presentation.

      Our next opportunity to feed the homeless of Harford County will be on Monday, August 26, 2019.

      Everyone is invited to join us outside by the playground one Sunday each month to picnic and play together after the morning worship service.  You should plan to bring your own picnic lunch, as well as blankets, canopies and chairs for eating outside together.  Here is the list of Picnic & Play Sunday afternoon dates for 2019:

    • kid's quest -- (K - Grade 4)

      Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00 pm

      September 18 - november 20

      We'll be learning hymns, memorizing scripture, and children's catechism in the worship center and playing games in the gym. We will also be learning various forms of physical training "for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way..." (1 Timothy 4:8) The kids will learn how to exercise safely, stretch, and build strength and endurance. Taught by Pastor Nick Hathaway,

      We'll be learning hymns, memorizing scripture, and the shorter catechism in the worship center and playing games in the gym. We will also be learning self-defense and situational awareness.       Our study, "Perils and Providence: A Study of the Christian Life in The Pilgrim's Progress". We will discuss the spiritual perils we face on our pilgrim walk by faith in Jesus Christ, and learn how God, in His providence, brings us through trials and temptations by His grace, so that we may live eternally with Him in the Celestial City. if you need a book are if you have any questions, please contact Nancy C.

      Meeting place to be announced

      Within the teaching of Jesus that we read of in the gospels are his parables. not merely illustrations, parable seem to have a life of their own - opening hearts or closing them - as men hear and respond to Jesus' words. We will examine some of Jesus' parables, discussing their meaning, and probing our own hearts and lives to see how they truly affect each one of us.   Taught by Dr. David G. Barker.

      We will be studying through a survey of the Bible, looking at a different book of the Bible each night. Luke 24:27 guides us as we seek to see how Jesus reveals himself throughout the law and the prophets. Studies will be held at the Hathaway home. Join our group chat for up to date information.       The focus of this module is to survey and examine the distinctives of the historic Reformed faith, her symbols and creeds, and understand the form of government as constructed by the PCA. The progression of thought will go from learning to understand to embracing to defending to teaching the doctrines of grace. Taught by Dr. David G. Barker
