Reformation Answers to

Medieval Questions

When a people fails to learn the lessons of the past, it tortures itself with foolishness - swallowing piffle, dribble and swill as if it were the waters of life.

History is not just the concern of historians and social scientists.  It's not the lonely domain of political prognosticators and ivory tower academics.  It's the stuff of life and it is the stuff of faith as well.             ~ George Grant

  • ladies wednesday evening bible study

    gospel of mark

We welcome all women and teens to study the Gospel of Mark on Wednesday evenings in the conference room. As we study this gospel, considered to be the earliest, we will observe its compactness, vividness, and orderliness. The steady, brief accounts of Jesus’ words and miracles gives us the sense that this is a gospel of action! Come join us as we follow Jesus as He fulfills the purpose for which he was sent: “to preach”, “to call sinners (to repentance)”, and “to give his life a ransom for many.” (Mark 1:38; 2:17; 10:47). Contact Nancy C. or Kathy S. if you have any questions.

    Wednesday Evenings, 6:30 pm

    September 6 – December 13

  • men's wednesday evening bible study

    Wednesdays at 7:00 pm

Dan Doriani has reworked and enlarged his great study of Christian manhood. He teaches that men don’t need lists to excel as husbands, fathers, or leaders. The new man in Christ is shaped by knowing God through his Word, because the way of a godly man is the way of his God.

    Wednesday evenings, 7:00 pm

    September 6 – December 13

                                      Pastor Dave Barker
