ü Church History: The Ante-Nicene Age The fires of persecution only helped to temper the strength and resolve of early Christians who sought to live and spread their witness of Christ in a nation and empire that was crumbling and in danger of collapse. life of David.

ü Studies in the Book of Exodus Having led the Israelites to the foot of Mt. Sinai, Moses now prepares them as God prepares him for the law. We will begin our study this year with an examination of the Moral Law of God. Evensong Worship Service, 6:30 pm Pastor David G. Barker
… and During the Week ü Women’s Weekly Prayer Meeting This weekly prayer meeting will include an informal study of prayers from the Bible to enhance our prayer life, as well as a time to intercede for the church and community. Tuesdays, 10:00 – 11:15 am Mrs. Pam Maggitti
ü College & Career Bible Study
The group meets on Tuesday
evenings at the home of the Lankfords. We will be continuing our video series
on apologetics through mid-October, then we will go back to studying a book in
Scripture. We also plan regular opportunities for mercy missions & fellowship
activities.
ü Youth and Family Night
On Wednesday nights, bring
the entire family for a time of Bible Study, singing, prayer, games, snacks,
special events and more. Nursery will be provided for all kids through
Kindergarten. All others will participate in our youth groups, which
are: Quest (Grades 6-8) Vision (Grades 9-12) Wednesday Evenings 7:00-8:30 pm Mr. Don Dove
ü Leadership College, Module 2
“What do the officers of
the church believe?” will be the focus of this module as we work through the
doctrines of grace articulated in the Westminster Confession of Faith and
wrestle with what it means to be both Presbyterian and Reformed.
ü God’s Gym This Men’s Bible study is for the building up of the spiritual man. Join them for a time of fellowship, Bible study and prayer as they continue their study of the Book of Romans. Thursday mornings, 6:00 am Mr. Shawn Loftus
ü Women’s Bible Study The Gospel of Matthew The focus of these studies is insight into redemptive kingdom living – that is, encouraging us to take our places in God’s plan of redemption, bought at the price of Christ’s life. The format is discussion of the scripture passages using questions in student workbooks. Please consider joining us. Thursday mornings, 9:30-11:15 am (beginning January 24) Mrs. David O’Steen
Shepherding Groups
Hannas Shepherding Group: meets for prayer at the Hannas home on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 pm.
Rossi Shepherding Group: meets for prayer at the Rossi home on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 pm.
Helmick Shepherding Group: meets for a time of prayer at NCPC on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
O’Steen Bible Study: the O’Steens host a Bible study and prayer group at their home on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.
Wright Shepherding Group: meets for study and prayer at NCPC on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm.
Marriage Seminar February 9, 2008
We are excited to offer this all day
seminar devoted to the strengthening of the gift of Christian marriage. A new
set of topics will be introduced. There’s a date lunch, dinner with other
couples and our annual Newlywed Game to close out the evening.
