"Hear, O Israel: The LORD
our God, the LORD is one!
You shall love the LORD
your God with all your heart,
with all your soul, and
with all your strength.
And these words which I
command you today shall be in your heart.
You shall teach them
diligently to your children,
and shall talk of them
when you sit in your house,
when you walk by the way,
when you lie down, and when you rise up.”

These ministries center around the experiences we share as members of God’s family and seek to knit members together in love and to build them up as a whole people. We work to develop friendships and bonds, an atmosphere of compassion and support, a place where mutual encouragement and challenge can bring us all to an increasing spiritual maturity. We also endeavor to bring community to the neighborhood.
New Covenant Presbyterian Co-op PreSchool, focuses on ages 3 and 4. With morning and afternoon sessions, many of our neighbors have become our friends. For information about the preschool, you may call the school office at 443-512-0771 and ask for a printed brochure.
New Covenant Christian School is sponsored by the church for the purpose of not only providing for some of our own children’s educational needs but also to be an outreach to the community, providing them with a quality, Classical approach to education. The classical approach to education is an exciting tool for learning which builds on God’s creation of the child as a natural learner, and helps equip students with the tools of self-learning. New Covenant Christian Academy is our own umbrella group for support, guidance and cooperation within the Home School community. This represents a sizable number from within our congregation and all are invited to inquire as to the program. KidsQuest is a mid-week rally for elementary-aged children currently in grades 3-5 that includes biblical instruction, activities, and games, with a focus on Scripture memory, training and modeling of godly manhood and womanhood. Quest is our youth group for middle school students (grades 6-8). Each week we gather for Bible study, games, and snacks. In addition, special activities, events and retreats are planned for students throughout the year.
Vision is our youth group for high schoolers. We have weekly gatherings for Bible study and fellowship, in addition to annual mission trips, retreats, and special events.
College and Career focuses on the particular needs of those young adults who are trying to adjust to independence and self-sufficiency and want the challenge to integrate and apply the Christian message to what they see in the world. Coed gatherings for Bible study and fun as well as breakaway groups of men’s studies and women’s studies have proven to be a very helpful and attractive ministry. The Beacon is our church newsletter and is published monthly. It includes updates from our different ministries, reflections from our pastors, the monthly church calendar, news about new members, births, birthdays, baptisms, etc. We also promote late-breaking ministry news, upcoming programs and events, preserve memories of activities and events past, relay news of our missionaries, and provide information about the church to our members and friends. Copies are available in the hallway leading to the gym.
